Climcycle Solutions GmbH is a rapidly growing Austrian technology company specialising in ESG, climate risks and banking regulation. Our software solutions help banks to implement regulatory ESG requirements efficiently, digitally and at scale.
Climcycle is already in live use at the majority of Austrian banks and is currently expanding internationally.
Project “Climate Risks Financial Impacts”
Climcycle Solutions GmbH is developing an innovative software platform for the quantitative assessment of the financial impact of climate risks in the banking sector. The aim is to develop models that meet regulatory requirements and scalable software solutions for integrating physical and transitional climate risks into banks’ existing risk categories.
The project combines research, modelling, data science, AI and modern software development.
We are looking for several highly qualified staff members to join our team in Vienna.

Your responsibility
- Development and expansion of software components for assessing physical climate risks
- Processing and integration of various data sources for physical risk matrices
- Preparation, validation and transformation of large climate and geodata sets
- Implementation of scalable data pipelines and analysis processes
- Collaboration with data scientists and risk modelling experts
- Contribution to the further development of assessment models that meet regulatory requirements
Your profile
- A degree (from a university or university of applied sciences) in Computer Science, Data Science, Geoinformatics, Mathematics, Physics or a comparable field
- Very good knowledge of Python
- Experience in data processing and
analysing large datasets - Ideally, experience with geospatial or climate-related data formats
(e.g. NetCDF, GeoTIFF, Xarray, Dask) - Knowledge of modern data and
software architectures would be an advantage - Analytical thinking and a structured approach to work
- An interest in ESG, climate risks or
banking regulation would be an advantage - Very good command of German or English (at least C1)
