Climcycle is already in live use at the majority of Austrian banks and is currently expanding internationally.
“Climate Risks Financial Impacts” project
Climcycle Solutions GmbH is developing an innovative software platform for the quantitative assessment of the financial impact of climate risks in the banking sector. The aim is to develop models that meet regulatory requirements and scalable software solutions for integrating physical and transitional climate risks into banks’ existing risk categories.
The project combines research, modelling, data science, AI and modern software development. We are looking for several highly qualified staff members to join our team in Vienna.

Your responsibilities
- Development of quantitative models to assess the financial impact of climate risks
- Modelling of physical and transitional risk drivers
- Development of mathematical and statistical methods for scenario analyses
- Validation and calibration of regulatory risk models
- Conducting quantitative analyses and simulations
- Contributing to research and development activities in the field of ESG risk management
- Working closely with banking experts, data scientists, and developers
Your profile
- A degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, financial mathematics, economics, or a comparable field
- Experience in quantitative modeling or risk management is an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of statistics and data analysis
Programming skills in Python, R or similar tools - Interest in climate risks, banking regulation, and financial markets
- Structured and analytical approach to work
Excellent command of German or English skills
