“Climate Risks Financial Impacts” project
Climcycle Solutions GmbH is developing a novel software platform for the quantitative assessment of the financial impact of climate risks in the banking sector. The aim is to develop models that meet regulatory requirements and scalable software solutions for integrating physical and transitory climate risks into banks’ existing risk categories.
The project combines research, modelling, data science, AI and modern software development.
We are looking for several highly qualified staff members to join our team in Vienna.

Your responsibilities
- Validation of quantitative climate risk and financial models
- Conducting regulatory plausibility and consistency checks
- Developing testing and validation strategies
- Conducting sensitivity analyses and backtesting
- Documentation of regulatory model validations
- Support with audit and review requirements
- Collaboration with model development, risk experts and software development
Your profile
- A degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, physics or a related subject
- Experience in model validation, risk management or financial services would be an advantage
- Excellent analytical skills
- An understanding of regulatory requirements in the banking sector would be an advantage
- Experience with quantitative analysis and data models
- A structured, precise and independent approach to work
- Excellent command of German or English
