Climcycle is an official Regional Accredited Partner of the Partnership of Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF) and is therefore the first accredited software solution for Europe and Central Asia that enables PCAF-compliant reporting.
PCAF-compliant calculation of financed CO₂ emissions
Our module calculates financed CO₂ emissions in accordance with the PCAF (Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials) standard. The results are comparable and certified directly by PCAF – ideal for reporting, management decisions, and regulatory requirements.
Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions are determined for all defined asset classes at the credit or portfolio level.
Climcycle offers a simple calculation process thanks to its user-friendly interface, automated data validation, and use of a variety of data sources. A particular advantage of Climcycle is that PCAF-compliant results can be calculated quickly based on minimal input data. The quality of the results can be continuously improved by gradually adding additional data.
Climate and decarbonisation targets are then defined based on the financed emissions, and measures for their implementation are derived.
Recording of all Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions
Climcycle can also be used to calculate all emissions beyond those financed. The recording of all Scope 1-3 emissions enables an all-in-one approach to CSRD reporting, climate strategies, and concrete reduction measures.
Climcycle records direct and indirect emissions along the entire value chain (Scope 1, 2, and 3).
Methodologically sound emission factors and structured data collection ensure consistent results—integrated into the Climcycle platform for reporting, control and reduction.
The calculation of all CO2 emissions was made possible by the acquisition of Klima.Metrix GmbH (takeover at the end of 2025). The integration of the KMX product into Climcycle has expanded the range of CO2 services.
